...because world deserves more of You

Do you go gaga over ‘forever-young’ looks of our celebrities who are actually in their 30s or late? ‘You look younger’ are these the 3 magical words you like to listen? ‘Oh s*** !! I am turning XX’ is the thought that has ever hit you? If answer is ‘yes’ for any of these questions, then likelier you are either in mid twenties or older one and even I belong to the mid 20 category(actually 25, nothing to hide :P). So yes, high five!!

In such times, these young plastic celebs don’t spare us but add an even darker edge to this ageing problem. It feels like we are watching them over the decade and still so perfect, so flawless (so plastic! :X), as if they stopped the clock in those youthful days. It might be the profession factor which triggers them to get those treatments. But I really don’t want to get into their business, at least for now because I am just not fond of their ‘Budhape vich Jawani’ look.

I don’t know about you, but yes I love to express my feelings openly. I want to laugh out loud, I want to cry my heart, I want to giggle and all without worrying what it does to my face. No matter how old I get.  And I would never want to be the mother whose muscles cried more than she did in K3G or the one who suppressed her 'priety' smile at IPL but passed an effortful grin :P :P ( You are smart, huhhh B-) ).

That’s so poor of these celebs’ lives (definitely it has some beautiful exceptions too). But fortunately, you and me, we are the mango people who can easily enjoy this freedom and that is why to everyone who has ever envied these youthful looks, I earnestly want to ask you ‘’Is this what defines you? Is this all you have to offer to this world? Do your wrinkles really affect your beloved relation (as shown in ads)?” Think. Yes, looks are somewhat important and the feminist side of us is blessed with acute aesthetic sense. But is this the all? I think NO. We are meant to serve bigger purpose than this. We are meant to be more than just a young face. We owe more to this world. And as Kate Winslet said we have responsibility to younger generation. We owe to be honest and natural.

So why not accept these signs of experience that time will leave on us? Why not welcome what comes naturally? Why not wear grey hair and age gracefully? Aren’t those fine lines just too fine to become artificial?

So embrace what comes with nature and celebrate the age you lived.

Let’s stand together to give our children and grand children a younger ‘feeling’ generation than a younger ‘looking’ one. Be more. Be yourself.

kyu ki wrinkles achche hai !!!
